When first entering the ePortfolio, I thought that it would be complicated to use. The setup for customization was difficult to understand at first. But after further use, I now realize that it is fairly simple. All of the tools to customize and create new parts of the portfolio are under one heading. Posting and creating pages is simple and easy to find.
The ePortfolio allows the user to go further than pen and paper. Everything that can be done on paper can now be done on the portfolio, and more. Videos or files can be uploaded into the posts, as well as links that can be embedded to allow quick navigation to a certain website. This allows more versatility for the user and whoever reads the portfolio. There are fewer limits than pen and paper. Using technology on the classroom has definitely benefited me. It allows greater exploration of a subject and is definitely more organized for everyone involved. I hope to be able to use the ePortfolio to stay more organized and creative in my posts.
